So did I. The statue of that female saint crying blood was one of my most memorable N64 moments, or gaming moments in general. Part of the reason why people hated the N64 games so much was because the 3D aspect did not match the 2D like they wanted it to. Same thing occurred when C. Judgment came out- a very vocal minority spoke out volumes of discontent. I personally liked the game enough to beat it 4 times, twice with each character. I played it a few years ago and it was just about as good as I remembered it.
I don't feel like looking, but as far as I know, I don't think many Castlvanias have sold more than 1.5m. When you have such a critical and elitist userbase, no wonder it won't grow. A collection of the series in its simplest form on the most casual console of this gen might not be a bad idea. |
Meeting Rosa where she was watering the roses? Was chilling, at the time. And the chase in the hedge maze? Terrifying.
Not nearly as terrifying in Legacy of Darkness, where Cornell could basically beat the Hell out of Chainsaw Franky, but Cornell was just waaaaaaay too awesome
