I'm tired of repeating myself. MGS4 is the worst in the series. Everything pales in comparison to MGS1 & 3 - excluding graphics. The story is awful, bosses are mostly copies from the previous games without any personality, the Drebin points made the game incredibly easy.

On another note, Uncharted 2 puts MGS4 to shame in the narrative department. U2 actually delivers a true cinematic experience.

The ending of MGS4 was nothing but epicness, any fan would of orgasm over that. And your saying MGS4 is worst then 2?

IMO MGS4 = MGS3 > MGS1 > MGS2

I love MGS2. The gameplay is solid, filled with some nice variety and easter eggs: being able to smack hostages, defusing bombs, bunch of codec and mic moments, grabbing dog tags, swimming, escort mission, taking pictures and sending them to Otacon, etc. The AI was also smart; they'll call for backup when they see broken glass, newspaper shredded, fruits destroyed, etc.

What sucked about the game was near the end where the story went complete bonkers. Another thing that I hated was Rose & Raiden talking after saving the game. I mean all I want to do is save my game, not hear your life story. And oh yeah, Raiden whines to much.
