Metal Gear Solid 4 is nothing exceptional, I personally rank it third in the series behind MGS1 and MGS3.
The bosses are so uninspired you don't even care when you're going to meet the next one. I didn't care much for the Ocelot impersonating Liquid angle they took. I like both characters, but on their own, not in the same person. MGS1 and MGS3 had much better characters and bosses.
