Galaxy is single player (primarily) and therefore doesn't drive the expanded audience as much as MKWii and NSMBWii do.

galaxy sold more than sunshine. The poster is saying why it didin't hit higher sales like 10 million. Not 20 million

I don't understand why you are saying what you are saying.

My point is Galaxy would have sold better if it had a big multiplayer portion. That would have drove the expanded audience to it.

Basically, more people consider MKWii, NSMBWii, etc as better games as they have a feature that allows more gameplay options.

Personally, I like all three about the same as I also focus on mastering the single player experience, however, the multiplayer makes those two see far more playtime in my house.

Even if Galaxy had multiplayer and NSMB:Wii didn't, NSMB:Wii would still outsell it. Every SMB platformer has sold well more than every 3D Mario in history.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
