Piracy ( everyone who denies that are only fooling themselves ) It sure helps sell a lot of hardware but it became a double edge sword and really hurt Sony in the long run. It's the mixture of those 3. PS. PSP is not a failure selling 55 million ( still selling ) is not a failure. I really hope Metal gear and KH will invigorate it sale for one last push and PSP is still far from dead yet thanks to Japan. |
What evidence do you have that it is a major cause? Even the Ipod one of the most popular Personal media players on the market only made 48 million from gaming even though i believe it's growing faster than the PSP. You don't need all the games in the world when you can search the internet, listen to music, watch videos etc.
I used to have a link the site traffic of the site that people used to network update their psp with custom firmware and their traffic was nothing amazing.
