lol, people are funny, from 22 million in 2009 to 17 and 14 million in 2010, lol

Not to be rude but the predictions in your sig kind of makes me see this post in a strange light. The Wii was guaranteed to sell past 45 million in 2008, it was also guaranteed to exceed 50% marketshare by the same time and was for certain going to move more than 75 million by 2009, 70 million at the very and extremely implausible least. Anyone daring to suggest below 70 million were blind fanboys and deranged fools only. I myself remember laughing at Crazzyman or some such claiming 62 million or some such by end of 2009. Turns out he was closer than all of us.

Don't be too sure. It did drop yoy in 2009, quite a lot in the last quarter and claiming other feats it is guaranteed to achieve may prove hasty yet again. We don't know but my guess is as good as yours (if not better going by the past).

PS: Where's John Lucas? All his predictions have failed more spectacularly than anybody else's, I'd think he'd want to comment on that some time.

What about Crazzyman's, MikeB's, Rock_On's or even leo-j's predictions which have been just as ridiculous as John Lucas sales predictions? It seems no one  can accurately predict sales. The VGChartz site owners do a good job because they have up to date sources to keep track of the weekly sales. But they would struggle to accurately predict sales numbers months or even years in advance due to  uncertain events and forever changing variables in making long term predictions.

No one can accurately predict the future.

Let's assume that 2010 total sales numbers of the big three will be roughly the same as 2009 total sales numbers. Could be a little higher or lower. Time will reveal all.
