I love my 360, maybe even more than my Wii, but I still prefer to play my shooters on the Wii by far. Dual analog is "ok" wheras Wii controls are amazing for shooters (if done right, ofcourse). |
I have a PS3 and I still chose to buy the Wii version of CoD:W@W. The Wii feels more natural to play games in first person view than the PS3, as I feel my actions with the Wii remote are closer to the character's compared with the dualshock. In some games, such as Bioshock, I enjoyed the graphics and the story, but felt detached from the main character, which is never good. In the other hand, I have not problem with the dual nipples in third person view games, as it feels as I am playing with some puppets. Graphics are an important part of the game, but I think the graphics in the Wii are functional enough to provide me immersion. The same thing I can't say about the PS3's controller.
