BigBoobieHead said: Sony is broadcasting the World Cup this year in 3DTV, are the company most associated with 3D by many, are including in most 3D headlines, and have all the resources in place to aim high. They aren't leaders no, but to say that it will take them 3 years to get to where others are today is absolute BS. |
Umm...thats ESPN...not sony.

Man you talk like you know everything. Sony is an official FIFA partner.
I don't know about the other crap like who is leading in the 3d TV industry and how many years some company did what.
That don't account for shit when the organisers of the biggest sporting event on the planet (some say bigger than the olympics but that is debatable)
choose sony.

FAIL!
read the article in your own link (Sony isnt broadcasting to a TV public) then click the blue link for "only option"... oh look... sky 3d broadcast as I said above... jesus.

Broadcasting? WTF. Does sony now own a TV station?
This wasn't aimed at you. This was aimed at disolitude who seems to think that sony is not a major player in 3D TV.
My point here is simply to point out that FIFA and Sony are doing shit together for the world cup using sony 3D technology and therefore rights to sell broadcast of any 3D game on TV on whatever channel ESPN, SKY etc.
PS: Actually I must apologise as I just released I got my qoutes jumbled up and can now understand why you thought I was talking about broadcasting.
