How on Earth did you come to the conclusion that that is what I was saying? Really, I want to know what I said that could make you draw that conclusion. I say that it's good that someone is innovating (while conceeding that the company that innovated has had a few unsuccessful years with one of its products), and you turn it into that? Good grief!


Did you not say it might not be wise for Sony to make big moves or not?. Sony are a global electronics maker they're always making big moves. Sonys losses on the ps3 were irrelevent in regards Sony as a whole. It's the strength of yen, weak economy that hurt them.

Ahem! It said it might not seem wise. That little word changes the meaning of the sentence completely.

This is just standard business for them, preparing for the next technological advancements. Sony probably spend $10billion a year staying on the cutting edge and designing the next iteration of tv's, cameras, batteries, ps4, stereo's, amp's, mobile phones, camcorders,  dslr's etc etc. Panasonic etc are also releasing 3d tv's.
