Surprises forthcoming about TvC (new characters?)

At a recent Capcom event, reps answered questions from a poster on Capcom Unity

A: So could you tell us who the new characters are?
Seth Killian, Capcom: That's still a secret and you won't be finding out until a few weeks
A: Oh, ok so what about the new mini-games?
Seth Killian, Capcom: I'm afraid you'll have to wait for that just like the characters. The news will be announced soon, though by then the game will be out. *laughs*

And at the same time, the game's producer, Ryota Niitsuma, is teasing that an announcement is forthcoming on the 6th. Are the two related? We'll find out.
