Is there a some tracking firm you've heard someone out of the big three mention for worldwide numbers? Or should he have specified by saying NPD, Gfk, and Famitsu/MC? And if you were waiting for the numbers from the three different regions, which one would come last?

Sorry to pick you out of the crowd of people using the same logic, but it really doesn't clear things up as much as people make it sound like it does. I for one think it is about US only, but I think it's obvious he was only restating his belief that it NSMBW will outsell MW2 on a single platform. The safety net of what would most likely be a lead over PS3 allows a free win while still leaping for the "shooter-centric" 360.

Bolted part of your quote for simple emphasis. Some people take it far too seriously, as if their very life was the wager.

It was a lighthearted bet by Reggie...and I'm sure they were talking about the month NPD numbers that get press...not what some are trying to spin now....
