When did he say it was an adventure game? My quotes are from his interview with Game informer magazine. |
A work is a seperate entity from the author. Once it's created, it has its own properties and qualities.
The author intending or saying what a work is doesn't matter, but how he actually made it.
David Cage could say that he didn't mean to create an adventure game, but from what I saw, I strongly believe he did.
You are not being constructive in this discussion because you're not saying your own beliefs (or at least supporting them) with your own ideas, but simply falling back on the same old tactic of "But, but, David Cage said so!"
Answer my 2 questions:
1) What is an adventure game?
2) Why or why not does Heavy Rain fall under that genre.
Types of answer I ban:
David Cage said X
It's not Mass Effect or Alan Wake.
