I wonder if NFL Blitz (or Blitz-like, I realize that license was held by a company that no longer has an NFL license) would be next.
As for players being in/not being in a game -- that is a highly volatile issue at all levels. Players generally have to sign-off on it through the union. In baseball, Barry Bonds stopped doing that late in his career while anyone who had served as a replacement player in 1995 was blackballed by the union, not allowed to join, and thus not in the game.
