Haha I know.  Calling Kefka shallow though... wow.

Either way, i'd say FF4 is better then both of them objectivly.

FF4 is my personal favorite, followed by FF 6, then FF9.

See that's the thing.  4 ISN'T my personal favorite... but I'd say it was the "greatest".

The general overarching theme and story of failure and redemption is so strongly woven throught the game... you'd be hard pressed to find a game that has such a strong theme... yet executes it in such a way that the strong theme doesn't overpower you, and can even be subtle and missed by some.
