From what I read from your post, you are thinking way ahead of time and making judgement on your next gen console based on facts of the current gen. If I were you, I would wait for official annoucements for the next gen and their line ups.
I was a big fan of Nintendo back then (NES, GB, SNES, N64) and now I have a PS3. As you grow older, your opinion and some of your tastes will change.
If you want to buy another current gen console, from what I read, you are leaning towards the X360. You only like LBP on PS3.
Go with your gut feeling. Let us know what type of games you like to play and if you like multiplayer (online and offline). We will try to point you out which console would fit you better.
