The real story here, IMO, is the dramatic drop in both Japanese PS3 hardware and sales of FF13 (which dropped from over 1.5 million first week to less than 200,000 second week). Looks like the PS3's savior was a colossal dud.

'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
