Look seriously, this is now getting silly. It's technically and physically impossible for any of the current HD consoles to support a game that outperforms Crysis. Heck, we don't even need to stop at Crysis, we could include a whole heap of other PC titles.

It can't be done, period. It's like figuring if you tune and tune a good Audi it will go faster than a top line Ferrari - it won't. Ever.

Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 look great, but they don't come anywhere near top end PC graphics.

Seeing it on a video, playing it on an average PC is irrelevant. If you've seen these games played on a large monitor (i.e. not a PC hooked up to an HD TV, which is actually pretty low res) but a proper high resolution monitor, using a high end PC, then the difference is huge.

Heck, Oblivion and Fallout 3 on a high end PC with the settings maxed have superior technical graphics to any console game.

I like consoles and I like my PC - but there's no point letting emotion or opinions cloud stone cold hard facts.

Just to take one example, you're comparing games with 2xAA against say 8xAA, or games with 720p resolution against resolutions far higher than that. There is simply to way.

Again, I also think a lot of people are confusing their preferred art direction or 'lool' as it appears on a TV with technical graphics.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
