Early tech-demos of both, of which have both been shown on 360 have already superceded them.

But even if Crysis / Rage did beat the above mention title graphically, what's to stop Sony from taking back the crown with another first party exclusive? |
Naughty Dog already confirming they've maxed out the PS3 and are only reliant on optimisations and Crysis 2 looks like a generation beyond it.

Nothing...but they've shown nothing otherwise to contradict it, no videos, no demos, no games. If they did you'd have a point. Plus having their devs say they're maxed out on the system doesn't help...i've got Jak 2 & Jak 3 and there's not much of a tangible leap between them.

Did Epic rested on its laurel when they produced Gears of War which they proudly proclaim was the limit of the 360? No they went and made Gears of War 2 which won many Best Graphic award in 2008. |
Uh, Epic already clarified that neither Gears of War maxed out the system, I think you're confusing announcements with negative spin by fanboys.

Well you could justify it if you had footage of such a game, like I am with Crysis 2. The only difference is is tangible, real and has a confirmed release, whereas you'd be just claiming a game would look better without seeing it.
mibuokami said: You're trying to advise me that 360 is a superior piece of hardware base on potential future products that have not proven themself, |
No, no, no, I'm questioning how one can justify that Cell & Blu-ray were provably beneficial - aside form things like 7.1 and higher def movies - when future products look to prove otherwise. I'm not saying the 360s better hardware for it (though I suspect C2 will run better on it given the statistics of cross platform games), but it's like saying Resistance 1 justified Cell, when compared to Modern Warfare (1) it looked naff.
