sounds like you have an awesome year ahead of you. i tried to think of all the crazy shit that i went through in 2009, and some of it was totally min-blowing lol.

nothing much planned for 2010, just trying to muddle on through with three exams this month. aarrrrrgh, all of a sudden i wish i'd studied more over christmas break. ¬_¬;

next month, i think i'll celebrate the chinese new year (it falls on the 14th, i believe, which is better than celebrating valentines day. ugh) with my apanese flatmate and his chinese girlfriend.

 

i turn 21 in 3 weeks. eek.

If you like heist movies at all, I'd definitely recommend Snatch and Rock N Rolla. Both are great movies imo.

I'm not dropping out of college but I'm taking my courses online. This way I can get some more stuff accomplished in my life. That and my family is down to 1 vehicle until my dad gets his inheritance...Then he's fixing his car.  I hope you have a great year! Just because you don't have much planned doesn't mean it's not going to be a good year.  21 was one of the best years of my life! :P

Does your flatmate get on your nerves or something? I've always heard that the chinese new year is pretty cool. Sorry, I read a later post lol.

nonono he doesnt get on my nerves at all, he and his gf are absolutely lovely. i just...thought the flat was empty the other night, and my boyfriend was round. and then a couple of hours later i heard my flatmate SNEEZE. so i've been avoiding him ever since.

i was comparing 2009 v 2010 so far and already i've got quite a list:

2009	2010
living at home, my parents were breaking up. lots of drama	i live alone ~60 miles away from them both, and it feels great
weighed less than 7.5 stone due to stress/illness/lack of food	healthy - more than 8st and its a new year, i plan to improve
was on the very very brink of breaking up with my bf of 4.5 years	im 3 months into the most awesome relationship ever
i was doing a course i couldnt see the end of	im doing an awesome course i really enjoy
i'd lost almost all contact with friends, had about 4 at uni	talk to my best frined almost every day, get on well with folk here
i wasn't happy with myself or anything else	i'm confident, know i can do and get what i want if i work for it
