That's funny, I'd like the exact opposite! Run n' gun is the fun, all else take a seat! Any interactions with the enemies are cool, so I also like the stealth. The platforming sections annoy me, as they offer no challenge at all.
On topic, I do think it's a little overhyped. I definitely don't think it's anything like the "best game ever," though it does imitate movies better than any game I've seen - if that's your thing, I suppose. It just drives me nuts how often control is taken away from you for cinematic effect.
Fighting in a high floor on a building that's collapsing is awesome! However, platforms falling under you and being forced to watch Drake jump or roll away from helicopter fire gets tiring. I just wish you could skip the in-game "cutscenes".
