I agree with Reasonable.
It's odd to me that I don't think it's a great movie, but I do think everyone should go see it. Its an advancement of the art in a very profound way.
Like the first use of color in a film, or surround sound. Not sure what those movies were (I think the color one was Wizard of Oz), but for there technical merits, I would have said everyone needs to see them.
So today, I will say if you can get to a theater where this movie is playing, then do so. If you wait 10 years before you get a chance to see it, then don't bother. What makes it great will be seccond hat by then.
