On a more serious note, me and a few friends are creating an anime type novel on our spare time. I'm the main writer for it with my old college professor to do the editing and whatnot. One of my other friends is the main artist (everything from concepts, etc) and I have 2 more that are also focusing on ideas for other subplots to take place. Of course the genre I would shoot to make this thing would be RPG but sigh....who knows if that will ever happen. On the bright side I would most likely make it have multiple endings (roughly 6 different outcomes).

You mean a visual novel?

Nope, all concept art is separate and serves as a guide based on all my notes to keep me on track. Depending on how things with this little project work out, then there would be a type of Manga adaptation with that concept art and eventually some form of anime and an rpg. Of course it's just a dream at this stage but hey, I am pretty sure Tite Kubo didn't expect Bleach to have the success it has now on those days he was juuuust starting it.

Keep ambitions low. You need to get SOMETHING done. Just do a fucking visual novel. It's low budget, it's a great medium, and it's easy to distribute.

You do that, and the story's good, then you'll be able to move onto other forms of media.

Don't dream about creating an anime or a RPG. RPG's (a good one) is time consuming. Stick with Visual Novel, since adaptations are based on the fact that the original has a good STORY, not gameplay. Focus entirely on story and character design, and you have a visual novel and foundation for spinoffs.
