That's not being condescending, that's looking for clarification! Do not confuse force of opinion (of which I may have too much) and arrogance (of which I apparently have some) with condescension, which is not something I would sttop to. That's petty, and too deeply rooted in an ingrained arrogance and superiority that I try to rid myself of.
