Will the Wii pass the GCN in # of AAA titles?

More like Critics don't like anything on the Wii unless its one of the three core franchises or Resident Evil.  If you look at the top games for Wii, there's only 5 main series which have achieved a 90 score (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Smash Bros, Resident Evil).  And a few of those games are rehashes of GameCube games.  The few other games that get above 90 on the list are a WiiWare title, a cross platform title that got high marks everywhere and a PS2 port.  It seems like they just stick everything else with a purposeful 8.9 or lower for the system, mostly because its either on the Wii or because of graphics.  Or both.  In other words, its not so much that reviewers are against sports games on the Wii, but prejudice against Wii games overall.

This is also why you can't use review scores to rank 'AAA' status for anything.  WHat's an 'AAA' game to a reviewer this gen?  Apparently, if you want to go by scores, stuff like GIAIV, MGSIV and Mario Galaxy sure....right along side tons of collections like God of War collection and Metroid Prime Collection as well as ports of past games like Resident Evil 4 and Okami.  Sorry, I understand those games were great and they still are.  But some games on the Wii are still as good (or better) than past games on the GameCube.  Reviewers need to stop using their broken score system and bias to elevate older games and push down games they personally don't like.
