Assuming you have a 32 bit processor and the minimum requirement for Win 7 32 Bit is 1 meg of ram, that means you have .256 gigs of ram? Dude a 1 gig stick will cost $30 or lower if you shop around. Also, unless you have a computer from the 90's then a processor should NOT be a problem. Win 7 runs fine on netbooks.

He said Vista.  Win 7 has lower requirements for RAM.

Even better, Vista has lower minimum requirements on Microsofts site. 516 megs of ram is required. 1 gig would work even better.
