Oddly, i agree with Kowenicki, if you travel to another state or country or region or what have you, you must know the rules of the area your going to, to avoid trouble at all costs.

true they should have givin more time to find out what was going on, but its a simple reason of what happens when you dont follow the rules...

i wonder what would happen if someone murders or commits rape in China? the punishment must be harsh.

Harsh? The punishment is valid and it only takes one person to get the axe before others think twice about commiting a crime. In England there is no deterent, prisons are nice and cozy and even have better food than the NHS hospitals.

Lots of people intentionally commit crimes in the winter just to get a sample of all the luxuries they recieve....

I know people say Capital Punishment is a great deterrent but if its so good, why are so many people being excecuted there? There are many well known cases of people being excecuted because of lack of evidence pointing to somebody else and then years later the killer confesses,im not saying their all like this, but there is a reason why we outlawed capital punishment.I agree completely, however, that the punishments in Britain are far too light, people are getting away scott-free for serious offences and given uneccesserily good treatment because otherwise it might infirnge their "human rights" and yadayada.
