Harsh? The punishment is valid and it only takes one person to get the axe before others think twice about commiting a crime. In England there is no deterent, prisons are nice and cozy and even have better food than the NHS hospitals.
Lots of people intentionally commit crimes in the winter just to get a sample of all the luxuries they recieve....

They even get to play with ps3's in UK prisons its that cosey, hell whats the time for murder in the UK now 2 years with good behavour? This country has gone to far lefty, He went in their country with intent to sell mass quantities of illigal drugs, Those drugs he "wanted" to sell could have ruined lifes, he didnt give a crap he deserved what he got tbh.
