I bet if it was actually real, it would have some fatal flaw due to being solid gold. Such as overheating and melting internally or the optical disk malfunctioning.

But it sounds totally fake.

It wouold most likely lose value the second you bought it.  Its only value is to a customer who wanted it based on the status of owning it as a 'unique' item.  But following this generation, I doubt anyone would want to buy it.  You'd probably have more luck selling a regular Wii than that.  You'd probably eventually have to just sell it for its weight in gold, and then you would lose 100x your investment.
