The ones I will list I place as awesome in other people's eyes but maybe not my own and will most likely not play them (99.999% chance for at least 2 years):
1. Bayonetta: Yes I know he made DMC and Viewtiful Joe, and after playing import at friend's house it felt like a DMC ripoff with Viewtiful Joe elements thrown in for good measure. Oh not to mention a mediocre story at best and trying too hard to make a cool and sexy female.
2. Gears of War 2: I absolutely loooooved the first one and have spent hours at my best friend's house drinking, bs'ing and playing that game. With that said, he rented 2 and I was playing it at his house and got put off after roughly 45 min or so. Better graphics but overall disappointment in gameplay and story. Although many say the story was great, I preferred that sense of uncertainty on the locusts that part 1 gave me.
3. NSMBW: I normally borrow my friend's Wii when I see a worthy game come, like anything Zelda even if it's mediocre. SMB3 is my favorite in the whole series and I did not like the 20-30 min I spent on this game at his house (4 players or even solo, it lost the magic SMB3 had set for me).
4.Mass Effect: I played KOTOR until my eyes bled as well as Jade Empire. This TPS disguised as an RPG never appealed to me and never will.
5. ME2: same as above.
6. DI: Obvious GOW ripoff. The Demo completely turned me off, so unless I see Gamespot and Vgchartz give this a 10, I won't go anywhere near it. Pissed me off even more that they would put the Divine Comedy's name on this thing. GOW Collection was much better, and if you have a PS3, I highly recommend that instead (until GOW3 comes out).
7. MW2: Watched the SP being played, too short, little coherence in story, and "key" characters dying left and right, giving absolutely no room to care for anything. Played MP and MW1 was better than this. Granted if it was an FPS of a new series I could see the appeal for this title. I also have much more fun with KZ2, where you don't get rewarded with dying many times, or for tiny things.
8. Ninja Gaiden Sigma: I wouldn't say I will "never buy it" but sadly it's not on the top of my list, and based on the demo, I am fond of this game and played the NES NG1,2 and 3. I will get around to buying this one after: MAG, WKC, Ar Tonelico 3, The Last Rebellion, Yakuza 3, FFXIII, GOW3, Heavy Rain and GT5. BUT I WILL BUY IT DAMMIT! lol
9. NGS2: same as above
10. Any Guitar Hero: I am sure they are awesome and fun for an hour and a few drinks, but I can't see myself playing with a toy you know? South Park anyone? hehe.
