Well I agree that the Deadspace franchise COULD be better than present and future RE games, depending on the path the RE series takes from here...(although I'm really only judging it on its current installment, RE5, which I liked but only thought was 'good'...most, but not all, of the others were brilliant...Re5 was trying too hard to conform to modern trends in video games, some of which I feel have no place in an RE game! Felt more like I was Gears of War, goddamnit! Not that there's anything wrong with that!)
Time will tell but it's probably unfair to judge the entire Resident evil series on just one installment.
And for all we know Deadspace 2 might be crap...
personally I think the whole horror video game genre should take a break for a while anyway
