Actually the SNES had online before Dreamcast

I forgot what that purple catridge was called that u needed

to use to play online with for the SNES, it was a flop tho

Loved that thing.  Clogged up my phonelines and pissed off my whole family by plugging that in and playing Mortal Kombat online all the time.  I even beat a guy so bad he threatened to come over and kill me in the post-game text chat.
