360 controllers break too easily

Yeah My battery holder on my 360 controller broke after it dropped off my bed ~2 ft. I put a piece of tape on it to hold it in place though. I only use that one when a friend comes over to play. My snes pad has been thrown countless times and buried in the dirt for a week and it still works.
