No, it won't, hint: FFX-2 is not on the list.

I think is impossible for someone to be 100% agreed with that list. Personally I think that FFVIII and FFV are way too high and FFIX should be at least in the top 3.

People will never stop fighting over FFIV, VII, IX.  Remember the first rule of fanboyism.  Everything was better when you were 10 years old.

The series is only going to lose its appeal with the majority of Final Fantasy fans from here on out.

Also, I'd like to point out something.  The reviewers on IGN CONSTANTLY use the FF series as a measuring stick of quality to other RPG series (Dragon Quest, Tales, Fire Emblem even).  I've heard some ofthem claim their favorite is FFIV, other FFVII and one even say FFVIII.  But I've never heard any of them say FFVI was their favorite.

Think of that for a second.
