I don't see anything innovative about the atmosphere. If you want a music video of girls dancing in an all-white room, I can find you some from the 80's or earlier. It was really really bad dance choreography, really choppy editing 'cuz that's the current hip thing to do but it's usually too frenetic to get any storytelling done, and really cool fashion, but the fashion's already been done too.
And what's the message? Years of film school isn't helping me figure that out.
And there was some great classic rock made by women. Some of the best actually.
But if you're seriously calling techno "music for the soul," you should be notified that there is more soul in this Kraftwerk track from 1977 than anything Lady Gaga has ever done.
