I completely understand naming the Wii and DS, but what did the PS2 do that helped define the decade?
Having an insane large library and selling a lot doesn't define a decade. About the only thing it really pushed was using the DVD drive that gave you a DVD player too so it started combining the gaming and media center.
That alone though, that doesn't out do anything the Wii, DS, and 360 did for gaming.
