The online numbers you see on Uncharted 2 are misleading.  There are many matchmaking servers and you only see the number of players on the server you are connected to, are actually several times that number online.   A ND employee explained this somewhere.

seriously? that's why never passed the 10K mark! now it makes sense =P

oh i almost forgot!

WAW has 100k people playing

and PSN games like BF1943,Fat Princess, Critter Crunch, and High Velocity Bowling has a lot of people playing in them.

also, Socom Confrontation has always 8k users always playing...

 

i'm sure that it's either your connection or your filter settings...
