I knew that there are some possibilitys to solve the problem but has Russia the ability to do it ? Ok I have to admit I forgot it will be here 2029 so they have plenty of time.
But Nasa actually favors the nuclear solution I just read it they would let the bomb explode a little away from the asteroid and the wave would press the asteroid gently out of orbit. They favor it because its the easiest method and can be made with todays technology. But in 20 years a lot of things can happen so maybe by then there are better solutions the gravitational tracktion must be a relatively new approach atleast I never heard of it.
