If messing up and getting in the way of each other isn't something you'd find fun, then yeah you'd start to get pissed. But I think you'll find that the millions who are singing the praises of this game fall into the category of enjoying the chaos.
Most good local multiplayer games are a social experience; the games are just an excuse to be together with people you like. Solo games (and most online multiplayer) are about over coming the challenge of the game. When you say people get pissed because of messing up it is because you are putting the expectations of game of challenge onto a game of socialising. The people who love NSMW love it because they see it for what it is - a reason to spend to with their friends.
As for how often are people going to be around, I know for me, 100% of the time. The only times I can game are when my buddies are over Saturday nights or with my son; the rest of my life is completely booked. |
Well that all sounds great for you. But I'm sorry, I don't find it fun to have to restart an entire level because you had somebody accidently jump on your head or something lame like that.
