Why does Nintendo take that long to make games compared to HD consoles?

Nintendo doesn't have tons of high-quality studios dedicated to making only hardcore games. EAD 1, EAD3, EAD 4, EAD Tokyo, Retro, HAL, and a few more, but it's nothing compared to the huge amounts of teams that MS and Sony have at their disposal(counting 3rd parties).
