Ok, but most people that know about the thing would tell you the synth versions are incomplete forms of the vision Uematsu had when he made the game because he had limitations, now, the recent adaptations of some songs in the reunion tracks, like the main theme, aerith theme and sephiroth theme(not the metal version in AC) are what Uematsu wished for the game.

The new versions have a lot more sound quality and the many instruments you can use give a wider experience than the simple synth harmonies in the game.
