Why does Nintendo take that long to make games compared to HD consoles?

No Second Parties? Then... Gears of War, Motorstorm, Killzone 2, Halo 3, Uncharted 2, Resistance etc aren't developed by Sony/Microsoft. Now my question for you is: Why does Microsoft and Sony take that long to make games?

Same here.

While Resistance is by Insomniac and thus a second party game, Uncharted 2 and Motorstorm are made by Sony owned groups and hence are first party. Just wanted to point that out.  I believe you're correct with Halo, but Epic isn't really a second party as they do develop for Sony too, just not for Gears...
