I would say we are only in agreement to a point. This point being that you can't rule out a system without looking into it's library. That and the pint that Xbox360 does have some decent exlclusives, but not worth it for me. Here is a small example. Of those 14 titles that are million+ sellers you listed and 4 to be million+ sellers, I only find 5 to be on interest to me. Crackdown 1&2, PD:Zero, Alan Awake and Saint Row. As for for the Halo games: I think they are all over-rated, over-hyped games to which there are far better FPS games in both story, graphics and gampley available on the PC. Neither Forza or PGR 4 interest me since I like the gameplay and feel of Gran Torismo more. I am also a bigger fan of Tekken and not a fan of DoA. I am not about to buy a 360 for those 5 games. We all know that perverted 12-14yr olds are the major share holders in relation to xbox ownership. At least this is the indication I get when playing any game on Xbox Live at my bros. house. I do not agree with you that the Xbox360 has a large amount of AAA exclusives. I don't think sales and popularity of a game make it great. There are numerous games that sold into the millions that are not great games. The opposite is true as well. I do admit that they have a large amount of exclusives and some seem interesting and may be great. I am sure there are many newer gamers that may find a large amount of those games to be great games. So, we agree to a piont, and disagree to a point. |
When I said I'm in agreement, we are in agreement that there are plenty of gamers who see value in Xbox 360 exclusives. Which is the truth. And in terms of critical acclaim, the 360 does have six exclusive AAA games (Halo 3, Gears 2, Forza 2 and 3, Geometry Wars 2 and GTA: Lost and the Damned.) You have your own subjective preferences and that's fine (as much as I find it odd how someone can name only five good games out of 100+ exclusive games in a library after giving the library a fair assessment). What I don't agree with is when gamers use their subjective preferences to make statements as if they are fact (ie. "the 360 doesn't have many good real exclusives" or "the ps3 doesn't have any games").
Btw Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma SIXAXIS breast jiggling is all I gotta say to your perverted 12-14 year olds comment. :p
