To be again on my points.
1st off NPD and others report PC game sales. Yes they dont have numbers for download distribution. The fact of the matter is they keep the PC game sales tracking separate from console game sales reports because they consider them different markets.
2nd yes I know you can hook a laptop up to my display in the family room. That isnt the point. It still is playing on a laptop with keyboard and mouse and now the laptop is really on my lap or me putting a TV tray or something between me and the laptop. It just isnt the experience I am looking for. There is a large amount of people that simply do not want to use keyboard and mouse for gaming.
So in the end the market considers the PC and Consoles as different markets and so calling something "exclusive" to that market is OK and isnt misleading.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
