The PS3 already has a great list of games in 2008 I'm looking forward to so I can't see 2008 being a bad year.
A lot of the early complaints like a poor game library compared to the 360, high cost, and hard to develop for are slowly falling by the wayside as more games come, price cuts happen, and developers become more familiar with the architecture.
Expect good things from 2008.
