I think this is probably a test, like using Natal with Burnout Paradise.
If Natal offers an inferior interface for the title, which it does with Burnout and which I'd say it does here, then gimmick aside there's no real reason to use it.
True Natal titles should, if well developed, be better using Natal as the interface than a controller.
I'm sure MS will add Natal to certain titles as more of a gimmick or fun factor, and maybe that's the case here, but they (and by extension Sony too) will need games that are better with motion controls, not worse, if they are to see real success.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
