I think Lost Odyssey will finish on top. But putting sales aside, valkyria does not even come close to lost odyssey in terms of quality.

Exactly.

Lost Odyssey = Best JRPG this gen so far (this may change with FFXIII, or maybe not)

It was an awesome (and moving) experience.

First off that was Uematsu's worst work since Rad Racer. I would dare say that Ar Tonelico 2's composer rivals Nobuo's best work. Second LO is just another JRPG in the bunch that 360 fans get super excited about since the original xbox was lacking on those. VC is superior quality and even dared to be different (and successful given a smaller install base). The thousand year dream in LO was the only interesting concept.
