The game was just too much for the 360 to handle at the current time. I'm not saying the 360 is bad or it should have been made on something else, it's just they either should have waited for the technology or scaled down the game to run smoothly.

You say that you experience the LOD problem once every few hours (so you saw it, what, 7 times?), I saw it every time I changed rooms. If it really was once every few hours I wouldn't say anything and neither would other reviewers, things like this only get mentioned as much as it does because it is a problem.

Just to point out, didn't you have a problem with Halo 3 not having enough level of detail or environmental props? What do you want twestem? Smooth running game, or great atmosphere and graphics? You seem to be unhappy in either case. ;)

You can still have fantastic atmosphere without taking framerate hits.  Bioshocks frame rate was fine and that game has probably the most fantastic atmosphere I've ever seen in a game.  The outside areas of Halo 3 were great and ran great.  Super Mario Galaxy looks incredible and runs incredible on a system weaker than the 360.  These games were all great because they knew their limits and knew how far those limits could be pushed.  Bioware ignored this and the game suffered.
