Prediciton - PS3's 245% increase in sales last week is a joke

Although I dont think it will happen, if PS3 has passed the 360 in NA this week the PS3 is going to pass the 360 WW by next September easily.

And the PS3 WAS SOLD OUT AT WALMART AND BEST BUY. I posted it a million times. Both 40gb and 80gb were sold out at many stores, while only the Premium was sold out at some best buys.

3 month reign? oh I see you must be a scientologist with one of those weird calendars. My whole beef is that Sony makes these announcements that are sometimes lies, which then every rabid fanboy as yourself eats up. Sony is then corrected but that part never reaches fanboy ears.

Oh and its not compared to last year, but last week.

This thread was never necessary but to provoke negative reaction why not make it anyway. You guys may hate GAF but as a forum it expands at an alarming rate and it does it by drawing the line between trolling and discussing. Something this forum doesn't do.

I think your replying to the wrong thread. Or you just havn't read it. Whats the problem with my prediction? I believe that its not true, I believe that when the official numbers come out it wont reflect what Sony said. Should I just keep quiet and wait till the numbers come out and say "ahah! I knew it"??

Wait till the numbers come out before discrediting any sales numbers. Neither of us really works with stores or Sony to know exactly what they are basing those numbers off of and it's best to leave it to the pros to speculate.

Its called a prediciton, you make them before the numbers come out... making a prediction after the numbers came out is... well pointless.

Why does everyone hate my polls? I'm a fanboy, but not blind, even I can admit that the PS3 is doing a hell a lot better than anticipated these holidays.

Yeah, that Japan one sure didn't pan out, and the 360 doesn't look good either unless some Wii factories accidently blow up..

What does seeing many PS3s still in stores mean except that there were many PS3s in stock, which we already knew. It doesn't disprove the huge increase.

You should have waited for the November NPDs or at least VGC numbers before saying BS, cause now if it turns out to be true you will appear very silly.

Looking at Vgchartz number, no console had anything close to that significant increase during the black friday weekend. It's one of the main reasons why I think Sony is bsing. Am I offended that Sony spins the numbers to make its console sales look better then what they actually are?? No, but those who believe this should be when they find out its another Sony lie. Again, its a prediciton, making it after official numbers come out is pointless.
