I got burned with both the N64 and Gamecube so I have absolutely no desire to get a Wii. How does the saying go, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.". I'm done buying a Nintendo console only to have it collect dust for 7-8 months (or more) at a time while I wait for the few decent games for the system. It's far more economical for me to just borrow someone else's and wipe the dust of it to play those rare games.

To each his own. Up until it's last 18 months, the 'Cube was a blast to own. For whatever reason, third parties were sour on the system. Still, if you got one, you were treated to some of last gen's finest. Same goes for the 64. Sony stomped a hole in Nintendo the first time they squared off, but the 64 had some truly amazing titles for the time. The Wii doesn't have the volume of A+ titles that the other two powerhouse systems have, but it's alreedy provided enough fun for me to feel the purchase is justified.
