True. I was reffering to the fact that most posters here claimed PS3 will drop totally right after 60 gb sku is out of stock. Buyers do prefer 60 gb sku over 40 gb but they will buy the second if first is unavailable.
Yes, that must have been mostly wishful thinking.
Although I do think PS2 backwards compatibility is a very useful feature, especially for someone like me who never owned a PS2 before and can now pick up all the greatest titles at budget prices. But entry price is more important from the big perspective, many already own a PS2 and the PS2 will get even cheaper next year and so you can have a PS2 in the kid's room and a PS3 in the living room at a similar price as a 60 / 80 GB PS3 at current prices.
